Architectural Desktop 2010 Ford
Is there anything we can download just to make it work? It is really frustrating because we just bought our 2009 version last year and it is required here in the philippines to have a subscription and then the subscription ends this year so we need to stay with the latest version which is 2010.We didn't even know that the AEC is really different even for 2009. Most of our clients are not updated on their version. I know it is an strategy of the Autodesk so that their client will stay on the most updated version but they should think that their product is really expensive for other company so they cannot force everybody to just update right away especially in this kind of economy. I hope they got solution on this. Check your EULA (End User License Agreement).
I do not know what provisions are in the one used in the Philippines, but in the US version you are permitted to continue using older versions that were also on subscription (provided both are installed on the same computer - you can not install the 2009 version on one computer and the 2010 version on another for the same license). That will not help with any files that were created in 2010 or were created in 2009 and then opened and saved in 2010, but would allow you to do projects in 2009 (2007 format) when necessary to work with other firms.
