. 876 Answers SOURCE: Can you locate the model number on the oven? Also any particular name of the stove? The manufactured year. These should all be available on a stainless steel or aluminum attached plate, probably on the back of the stove or inside the door. I wouldn't try using the self cleaning feature until we get some advice.
It could lock up on you and not UNLOCK. Normally self cleaning takes place at 600 or more degrees. I'm sure others still have the same stove., I will see what I can find for you. Posted on Aug 21, 2008. 1 Answer SOURCE: I, too, have lost my manual and none of the timers work. I can never remember how long to run the clean cycle for, but will turn it off as it has been a little over 2hours and your post mentions 1.5hours. I initiate the cleaning cycle by completing steps mentioned above and then turning the top dial (which has a clean range on it) clockwise until the clean light comes on.
I then just time it by my watch to turn it all off. Then I wait a couple of hours before attempting to open the door. Don't forget to take the racks out, they are not suppose to go through the Clean cycle.
Good Luck, Linda Posted on Dec 20, 2007. With it being as old as you are saying, about the only place you might have luck finding parts would be to check online at some used parts places. I tried checking Sears website but from what they were showing, you have not provided the full model number and I could not find out for sure if there were any manuals or if some of the parts were still available. Usually, after a unit has reached 25 to 30 years in age, if not sooner, parts are not readily available anymore. Sorry I could not help you better! Mar 06, 2015. I, too, have lost my manual and none of the timers work.
